ABOUT LISE

I recognize how difficult it can be to create change in our lives.  We may feel pain or discomfort when experiencing loss, anxiety, trauma, or substance abuse, and it may be challenging to do this alone.  I have experienced many difficult life events, such as divorce, death of a spouse and being the mom of 3 adult children.  I sought therapy to help get me through the challenges I was dealing with.  It can feel very lonely and overwhelming when you have no one to turn to.

My goal is to provide a safe space where you can explore with compassion and kindness and we can face the challenges together.  We will develop coping strategies for the challenges that are causing you concern.  I believe in creating a strong alliance with my clients that is based on support and trust.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and am registered with the  College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario  (CRPO).  I work with adults who are experiencing struggles with substance abuse, addictions, trauma, anxiety, depression and life transitions.

Complimentary 15 Minute Phone Sessions Are Available

My approach to therapy is person-centered and focused on what you need.

I integrate different therapy approaches to create a personalized plan that is most effective for you.
